At Otter Creek Lodge, there's no shortage of living space to enjoy reminiscing with family and friends, kicking back and enjoying the fire, or relaxing to a cold brew after a hearty day in the woods.
We have outfitted the Lodge with lots of comfortable furniture and Adirondack style décor with wide open views of the lake and surrounding old growth pine forest. On cool days and crisp nights relax by the fireplace and enjoy the gorgeous ambience of the Lodge. If you’re not done for the day, play some cards at the game table or tell some jokes at the bar or grab a game of pool!
A second living room is located adjacent to the great room with access to the large deck and screened in porch that is perfect for gathering on a warm spring or summer night. A third living room is located on the second floor off of the master suite.
Around the Lodge
Otter Creek Lodge has plenty of opportunities to satisfy your craving for the outdoors.  Enjoy hikes, paddling on the pond, clipping on some skis for the snow, or just warming up by the campfire. The Lodge is the perfect place to play and stay!
From the Lodge, hike the natural perimeter lake trail or take our trails to the adjacent Otter Creek Horse Trails, a 65-mile state trail system for horseback riding, hiking and biking and cross country skiing and snowmobiling during the winter. Travel these trails to several beautiful wilderness ponds and lakes.
Parsons Pond, located about a mile from the lodge, is a great small lake to hike to. Go at sundown and observe the beavers busy at work. Bring your fishing pole and try your luck with the natural trout and bass. There are several small lakes within a few mile of the Lodge located on state land and open for fishing. Several are stocked with trout by the DEC.
Little Punky Pond skirting the property of Otter Creek Lodge is a treasure hunt for the avid wildflower observer or the backyard botanist. Punky's bog-like environment grows, among many things, an abundance of Pitcher plants.
A 500-yard run down our trail will connect you to Snowmobile Main Corridor 8A, part of the extensive state maintained trail system providing hundreds of miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. From the Lodge take the trail system to Brantingham, Old Forge, Stillwater and Tug Hill, all top rated snowmobile destination and all within 30 miles of the Lodge.
